Wood wall cladding: apartment decoration

When choosing materials for decorating his home, a person, most often, is guided by the principle of “like - don't like”. And only a tree, perhaps, everyone likes.

• A beautiful interior can be obtained using a type of roll wall covering such as wooden wallpaper. They are produced by gluing wood veneers on a paper base, and almost all known species of wood are used for this. • Manufacturers of wood finishing materials offer a lot of new products, among which you can see all kinds of panels, both with locking joints and mounted on glue. The decorative layer in these wall coverings can be the same bark, straw, bamboo - a worthy choice.

MDF concrete panels

Most often, other materials mimic the surface of wood, but it happens and vice versa.MDF panels do not always have the configuration and appearance of a natural wood board, which we are used to seeing in hardware stores.
Take a look at the photo above: the wall is lined with wood-shaving panels, in which the decorative layer is stylized as a concrete surface.

Wooden ceilings

Wood in the decoration of the room can be used not only for wall cladding. Often, the ceiling plays a major role in interior design.
Especially in cases where there are many windows, or a whole wall is glazed:

• Such premises, as in the example below, are often found in private houses, and modern apartments built on an individual project. Here, the walls are lined only in the window-sill area, using perforated wood radiator grilles.

• The main emphasis is on the design of the ceiling, hemmed with MDF panels. On top of the panels, a mesh lining with a darker-colored bar was made.
  Without this alignment, the ceiling surface would be monotonous, since the room has a fairly large area.

  Just for finishing the interior surface of drywall, use a self-adhesive film with a wood pattern. This option for finishing the ceiling can be considered budget.

• Such ceilings are usually sold bundled from the manufacturer, along with fasteners and frame parts. Along with a false ceiling, the walls of this room were decorated with classic wall panels made of solid wood, which we already spoke about above.

• In addition to ceiling structures and decorative wall materials made of wood, flooring, of course, also participates in the design of rooms. Moreover, it can be the main decoration of the interior.
• And this is not only a board of their valuable species of wood, or parquet with a brushed surface. The most beautiful is considered to be the most beautiful parquet, which belongs to the elite finishing materials, and is one of the most expensive.
