In modern construction, the use of plasterboard sheets is widely spread, as a particularly affordable and at the same time reliable building material. What is this mass-used product?
There are several ways to install GLK on the walls, consider the most traditional and convenient methods.

- The most common mounting methods on the wall is fastening with screws directly to the wall through pre-installed wall plugs.
- This method is acceptable only for flat walls, the geometric deviation of the flatness of which does not exceed 3 mm.
- Installation is carried out according to the marks applied on the walls along the lines of the joints of the sheets of drywall, the vertices of which are displayed with a level and a ruler in a single plane.
- On a wooden crate of bars of equal thickness, about 5x5 cm.
- On a metal profile.

Installation steps
The drywall frame is mounted on the main ceiling or wall with dowels. It is produced from special metal profiles or from wooden beams. The frequency of lathing rails is carried out with a distance of 40 cm from each other. Drywall sheet is attached to the frame with self-tapping screws with a pitch of 15 −20 cm from one another.
Tip. Usually, when mounting a frame for plasterboard sheets, a small gap is made from the wall and ceiling, in order to avoid condensation, which can create big troubles to the property owner.

- In this case, special fasteners in the form of aluminum strips are mounted on the wall. To their sides, with small self-tapping screws (fleas), a profile is vertically screwed, and drywall is attached to it.
- At the end of the installation of drywall sheets, all joints are pasted over with self-adhesive tape, and only then they are puttyed. Putty is allowed to dry completely and grouting is carried out with a special grouting grid. After grouting, you can perform any painting work.
The uniqueness of drywall sheets is that even the most complex and resistant surfaces after installation turn into perfectly even and smooth. Using drywall for surface finishing, you can easily hide all communication lines, without fear of ignition and sunburn in the event of a sudden short circuit in electricity. Plaster is not combustible, and does not contribute to burning.
