- Oil waxes. They contain natural oil and wax.When applied to a wooden surface, the oil is absorbed, and the wax forms a continuous water-repellent coating, with increased resistance to wear and any detergent compositions.
Tip: When painting children's furniture, preference should be given to compositions with maximum safety. It is better to choose paints made on a water basis, they do not contain toxic substances and are safe for a growing organism.
Before repainting the crib in white, it must be borne in mind that dirty marks will strongly stand out on it.
The listed materials are distinguished by absolute toxicological, allergenic, chemical and operational safety, excellent gamut of colors, but they have a rather high price. How to paint a crib for a baby
Before painting the crib, whether it is new or repainted old, it is necessary to prepare all surfaces for work.

- Staining must be done at least 7 days before using the product, so that during this time it is possible to identify and then eliminate defects that appear after the coating has dried.
- If the paint begins to become covered with bubbles and exfoliate after drying, the entire surface will need to be thoroughly cleaned again with a sandpaper, well-degreased with a solvent, and then painted again.
- When painting, do not immediately draw a lot of paint on the brush. In this case, the excess coating will dry for a long time, and the adhesion of a thick coating layer is worse with the painted surface.
- Care must be taken to prevent droplets of paint from collecting in inappropriate places when staining. In this case, do not draw a lot of paint on the roller or brush at a time.
Tip: For high-quality painting, apply the composition in several thin layers. Moreover, each subsequent one is applied after the previous layer has completely dried.
