Despite the fact that there are a lot of new finishing materials, wood does not concede its position in the design of rooms, but only strengthens them. Many people think that wall decoration with wood inside the house can only be done with the help of lining.

Wall decoration inside a tree, can be made by almost all types of boards: facade, parquet, deck. Particular attention is drawn to the board, which is produced as a floor covering.

• The expressiveness of the wood texture, its color, and even the size of the board also affect the visual perception of the skin. The wider the board, the fewer joints, and the surface looks better.

  In addition, they create a water-repellent film on its surface and protect it from mold and fungus.
• The method of mounting the board depends on its type. All types of floor boards are connected by a groove-comb method, as well as lining.
  Therefore, decorating the walls with wood with your own hands is not particularly difficult.
• The front board has a slightly different design. It is connected using special mounts, which are sold as a set.
  The installation of this type of board, otherwise called planken, is carried out both on a wooden crate and on a metal frame.

• There is another type of board used for interior design of premises - this is wooden siding. It differs from other types of boards by the way of fixing.

• The configuration of siding panels can have not only the shape of a board, but also a square or rectangle. There are siding options with a surface that imitates stone, leather, bamboo.

  After removing the paint, the wood is coated with a colorless varnish.
• For hardwood, the chemical method of artificial aging of the tree is also used. Its surface is treated with sandpaper and wiped with ammonia.
• Under its influence, a characteristic gray tint appears on the wood, which you can see in the example above. As you can see, there is nothing complicated about this, and you can do such a finish yourself.

There is also a thermal method of wood processing, when its surface is fired with a soldering iron until the moment when the pattern appears. Then the carbon deposits are removed with a brush and opened with a stain or varnish.

Wood wall coverings

Naturally, a board is not the only material that can be used in the design of residential premises. For this, there are various decorative wall coverings. One of such coatings is wooden wallpaper.

• In fact, it is a wood veneer glued to a paper base. For the production of this roll coating, more than a hundred types of wood are used.
  The price of the finished product also depends on the cost of the raw materials used.
• Glue such a coating on the wall in the same way as any other wallpaper. The surface of the wall, at the same time, looks as if it is sheathed with a board.
  Although, one of the most popular images today is a cross section of a tree.

• The walls are decorated with wooden dies of large and small diameters, panel panels made of saw cuts. There are wooden wallpapers with such texture, 3D wallpapers, and even ceramic tiles with the corresponding pattern.
