DIY association to appear in Russia
Alexey Fedorov, Managing Partner of 220 Volt Group of Companies, founded the DIY Market Representatives Association, which will deal with the problems and prospects of the building materials and repair market.
Active participants in the neoplasm will be building networks, vendors, developers. The intention to join the association was confirmed by more than 50 companies.
Among the areas of activity are import substitution, analytics and forecasts for the development of the DIY market, information exchange with suppliers and consumers, educational activities and the revival of the Russian school of building education. The organization will create its own analytical center that tracks the dynamics and trends in the DIY market. All studies will be published free of charge in the public domain. “To date, there is simply no such open analytical data, and almost all companies need them to build strategic plans,” commented Alexei Fedorov.
The association will fight to lower prices for goods, counterfeit shares, as well as improve the quality of service for consumers and protect their rights.
