Flexible TEGOLA tiles adorned the roof of Russia's largest children's recreation and entertainment complex in Grozny
Designers and architects of the project approached the arrangement and design of the children's center with a soul, using many original landscape, planning and design solutions. The most modern, aesthetic and environmentally friendly materials were used in construction and decoration. So, as a roof of park arbors the flexible tile of the Antik series from the NORDLAND collection from TEGOLA was chosen.
The material does not contain oxidized bitumen, which, when heated by the sun, intensively releases unsafe volatile substances. Instead, the manufacturer uses an APT that is resistant to external influences and chemically stable polymer bitumen, which is not afraid of either exposure to temperature or ultraviolet radiation. The scaly form allows its use in complex architectural forms. For example, when the curvilinear contours of the slopes make it difficult to lay the coating. Designed based on scandole technology, the design of the tile creates a visual effect of movement when changing the angle of view and lighting. The manufacturer gives NORDLAND coatings a 35 year warranty. The real term of operation, subject to qualified installation, can reach up to 50 years.
