• Starting mixture. It is a coarse-grained composition with good adhesive properties and increased strength. The product is used to level the building foundation. Layer thickness - 5 mm.
• The finish line. The tool masks minor defects, smoothes the surface and prepares the construction base for decoration. The material is applied to the starting putty after priming. Layer thickness - 1 mm.
• Universal remedy. It can be used both as a starter and as a finishing product.

Putties are also classified by degree of readiness:

• The finished composition is easy to apply, which speeds up the work. However, such material gives a great shrinkage. Ready putty is recommended to be used immediately after opening the bucket. The composition is not stored because it dries quickly.
• Dry mix. The product needs cooking. To do this, you need a drill with a mixer nozzle or a construction mixer. Advantages - low price and the possibility of applying a thick layer.

To putty the walls, prepare:

• putty;
• primer;
• construction mixer or drill with mixer nozzle for mixing the mortar, if you are using not a ready-made composition, but a dry mixture;

• rule for aligning thick layers of the composition;
• laser or alcohol level;
• grater for grinding walls;

Only dry mixes need preparation. Dilute the primer with water in the proportions indicated on the package and mix.

Dry putty is prepared as follows:

• pour half the amount of water indicated on the package into the container;
• add putty in full;
• stir the composition;
• mix the mortar with a drill with a mixer nozzle or a construction mixer (as on Photo below);
• add the remaining water, stir the composition again.

After 15 minutes, use the solution as directed.

Putty should only be applied on a clean surface, so remove the old coating before work.Next, clean the construction base from oil and grease stains, dust and dirt. After that, apply a primer using a roller, brush or spray gun. Put the composition in two layers. After each application, take a break to harden the product. Then the surface can be treated with putty.

Apply the starting agent first, starting from the corners. Then plaster the surface. For alignment and masking of small defects, apply the composition, 5 mm thick. If there are deep cracks and other imperfections, increase the thickness to 1.5 cm. Apply each coat of putty only when the previous one has dried. Next, sand the building base. Then apply a primer to the surface in two layers. The primer will clean the base of dust and improve adhesion of materials.

Apply the finish coat after the primer dries. Use a fine-grained composition. After that, the surface becomes flat and smooth. Apply putty, 1 mm thick. Next, perform grinding and priming. Then you can do the decoration.
