Be sure to smell the composition - the smell should not have a hint of acetone and be too harsh. There is another point - the greater the thickness of the wallpaper, the thicker the glue will be needed: this rule applies to all types of material for decoration.

In addition to containers for diluting glue, we prepare:

• Pencil, plumb line and tape measure;
• A wide brush or roller made of soft material that will be applied with glue;
• A rag with which we will remove the composition from the front side;
• Rubber brush for smoothing wallpaper on the wall;
• Stationery knife.

Then proceed to marking the wall

Before doing the work directly, it is worthwhile to eliminate drafts in the room, to ensure the optimum temperature regime (about twenty degrees), remove the baseboard, switches and so on. And only then can you mark the walls.

This process is performed in compliance with the following sequence:

• We lay out all parts of the image on the floor, carefully combining the edges - the picture should be perfect, since the final result depends on this stage. Using a tape measure, measure the width of each fragment individually;
• The marking on the wall starts from the window - we take the level and the pencil, we mark the initial sheet. Keep in mind that the horizontal and vertical lines should form a right angle in the end. In the same way, we continue the process along the entire length of the surface that will be glued.

Marking the walls is the most important process, since the correct execution will depend on how smooth the resulting image will turn out.

Everything should be done quickly enough - you do not need to wait until the canvas is completely saturated or the glue dries, for this reason it is necessary to ensure complete freedom of time. • We take a clerical knife and cut off the material fields with it. The tool should be sharp enough, and to get a better result, arm yourself with a ruler. All manufacturers of photowall-paper designate fields in white;
• All elements of the panel are stacked face down on the floor - before doing this, do not forget to thoroughly wash the floor or cover it with oilcloth. The canvas that will be glued first should be at the very top;
• We apply glue on it with a wide brush or roller. Particular attention should be paid to corners. To get the perfect result, we recommend applying glue to the surface to be treated, but this condition is not necessary;
• Do not waste time and paste the finished fragment of the wallpaper, its location should correspond to the markings on the surface;
• The canvas is smoothed out with a rubber roller or a wide brush, moving to the edges from the center - in this case you should not rush, we carefully go through each centimeter. Excess glue is immediately removed with a normal rag.

The remaining pieces of glue in compliance with the same technology, overlaying the next sheet with twenty millimeters overlap. Do not forget to constantly monitor the correct alignment of the image.

The last step in the sticker on the photo wallpaper is trimming the edges (if necessary), cutting out places for switches and sockets. The resulting surface must be coated with a solution that provides protection from moisture and sunlight. Keep in mind that the final work can only be carried out after the glued wallpaper has completely dried out. Do not forget that you need to return the skirting boards and everything that was removed in advance.
