GC “220 Volts” opens a new format store in Novosibirsk. The size of the site is 1000 square meters. m, which is unique for the point of sale of power tools, where the area rarely exceeds 100-200 square meters. m, while there is virtually no trading floor. The main guideline is on the availability of goods, the complex will be designed to store up to 35 thousand items.

The creation of retail outlets in the regional center on the basis of the "daisy" principle has established itself abroad, and now it has been implemented in Russia. The core of the "daisy", that is, the center for the execution of orders, will "feed" stores in other locations. It is also planned to collect orders made on the 220 Volt Internet platform here.

“This is not a store in the classical sense, it is such an operational center for the execution of orders. Popular DIY networks often feature a very narrow range of power tools that do not adequately cover customer needs. In most cases, this is such an instrumental mass market. But we always take into account the interests of consumers with increased requirements for the unique characteristics of the tool, therefore, by forming the product matrix, we try to make it as deep as possible.

Our latest research indicates that consumers are increasingly paying attention to the availability of goods and speed of delivery, that is, if transportation to the region was the norm for three days, then at the moment, high-quality customer service focuses on the ability to provide the right thing “ Here and now". A significant area of ​​the store will allow forming such a stock that will satisfy up to 70% of orders from the product line, as opposed to 30–40% of the previous figures.

The pilot support regions were Novosibirsk and Rostov-on-Don, where test projects were implemented. By the end of 2019, it is planned to create similar hubs in all regional centers. Focusing not only on expanding the geography of sales, but also on modifying sites in the cities of presence, reducing delivery times is the most important development priority for us, ”explains Alexey Fedorov, managing partner of 220 Volt Group of Companies
